Hi all,

Again for no reason, no one answer my cell call from Friday afternoon. I called several to alert them to post to list about a possible Brown Booby (brown/white bird, smaller than gannet) seen going south after 2pm or 3pm (lost track of time). I left my firemen convention in Baltimore Friday morning and stop by at my crummy apartment around noon to pick up few things before headed south to Georgia visiting family. Had a call from Leslie Starr and then from Nico Sarbanes asking about someone's cell # and I asked them what going on. They told me about a booby sighting earlier that morning at OSV.
Since I'm 10 min away and had to wait longer to get my cousin on her new jeep from the shop and we went down to south of South Ocean Beach and 16 min later, in the distance, the bird was seen headed south. Stayed half hour while my cousin took a quick relaxing on the beach. Also there were whimbrel, dowitchers and sanderling headed south, single black tern going north, many, many common and least terns all over the ocean.

I have limited time on internet while here in Georgia (till Aug 1st)
