Hi Everybody: I did a quick run to several locations before work this morning. Nothing unusual was seen but some great looks at close birds, especially first-year sons sparrows, phoebes and a kingbird.

Canada Goose several flocks; 45, 71 and 16 all flying north on the Potomac River

Great Blue Heron 3
Great Egret 2

Spotted Sandpiper 1 sitting on the edges of rocks below the rapids
Bald Eagle 1 adult
Red-shouldered Hawk 1
There were approx. 50 swallows flying around not too far off of the Va. shore. The majority seemed to be Rough-winged with a few Barn and Tree mixed in.
