Hi, everyone.

We are minus a couple of regular watchers this year, so I have two weekdays
with no coverage at the Turkey Point Hawk Watch. We are good for each
weekend and also for Mondays and Wednesdays at this point; I can take either
Tuesday or Friday, but not both, so if anyone can spare maybe one Tuesday or
Thursday a month from September through November, that would help us
maintain the level of coverage we've enjoyed for 15 years. Expertise is NOT
required, just the ability to tell a buteo from a falcon!

One of the fun things about watching at Turkey Point is that the hawks tend
to fly almost overhead. The trail to the point is also very birdy during the
fall, so it makes a great place to walk in the morning and catch fall
warblers. As the season progresses we see Golden Eagles, Goshawks, even a
Kite or two.

Please let me know off-list if you can help out, and thank you!
