Tuckahoe and Ponds on Rt. 309

I did some casual birding this morning at Tuckahoe with a bunch of kids ... 
sort of a last outing before school starts.  Nothing special at Tuckahoe 
except for a Towhee in full song.

The Rt. 309 pond closest to Tuckahoe had some nice birds:    Pectoral 
Sandpiper
  White-rumped Sandpiper
   Solitary Sandpiper
   Semipalmated Plover
   Lesser Yellowlegs
   Semipalmated Sandpiper
    RUDDY DUCK  ... one male
