The Hagerstown LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE was present at the usual location this
morning between 11:00 and 11:30, first spotted in the top of a locust in the
line of trees to the left of the pond and later spending a good deal of
time perched on the mullein stalks between the pond and the high mound.
After watching the Shrike for a while, I concentrated on scoping distant
snags for a Red-headed Woodpecker without success.
