Hi all,

After following the postings for the last couple of days, with keen interest I planned a Sunday morning jaunt to Sedgwiick lane- I arrived about 9:50.  Had scope at  the ready, but bins were better for scanning the field. I hoped I had the right place! Bill Hubick's directions were right on target.  At 10:20am  I spotted the Loggerhead alight on one of the tall (milo?) plants- stayed there for 10sec and went down in the grass. Patience paid off when the shrike popped up again- two other Mdosprey's arrived for views. (nice chatting with you guys)- this time it was closer to the big tree with a split in it, near the treeline.

A lifer + state bird for me!  Thanks Jim Green for spotting this bird!
