I spent a few hours yesterday morning (9 Aug) birding a few spots in and around the southern part of the county specifically looking for shorebirds.

Terrapin Park 0810-0900

Really not much going on here, I was hoping for some terns feeding on the bay or a Sanderling or two on the beach. No luck on either.

There were about 25-30 shorebirds in the air over the northern pond but could not relocated them on the ground once I got the car stopped as the vegetation is to high.
