My hubby and I were out early this morning walking at the Union Mills area above Hashawha. I heard and saw lots of birds on the Unions Mills trail. A lot of Catbirds, Robins, Wood PeWees, Flycatchers, Cuckoo, Cardinals, Woodpeckers, Wrens, a few sounds I did not recognize and what I could have sworn were turkey sounds. On the way back down to the main road we took a short walk down to the stream near the parking lot for the horse trailers. Here I heard a lot of Common Yellowthroat Warblers. The last stop was a short walk at a fireroad trail off of SawMill and I believe this is part of Hashawha. Here I heard more Common Yellowthroat Warblers, Catbirds and what I think were a couple of first fall warblers. I have an idea but I wanted to ask for other opinions. Hopefully the pic's are good enough for an id?
