Pectoral Sandpipers - North Branch, C&O Canal, Allegany Co.

I just returned from checking the tarps at the North Branch here in
Cumberland. There was a nice assortment of shorebirds (see below). The
highlight being 3 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS. Also, on the prominent snag near the
entrance to the park, an adult BROAD-WINGED HAWK was perched and afforded a
great photo opp in the afternoon light.
