While doing an unsuccessful tern search at Tridelphia I was joined by Bill Hill. We watched an Osprey catch a turtle. About 5 minutes later the Osprey was still flying around with the turtle. It attracted the attention of a Peregrine Falcon which flew from Pigtail (Howard County), at the Osprey and then over us, at the pipeline off Greenbridge Rd (Montgomery County). The Osprey won the battle and kept the turtle.

The water is high and there is no sandbar. No sign of the Black Tern which was seen on Friday. Sunday I did have 3 Forster's Terns and on Monday 3 Caspian Terns at the same location.
