Hi all,
Jo Anna and I checked North Beach Marsh last night. The best bird was
a juvenile YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON that Jo Anna found, it was
standing on a log on the east side of the pond. We could not relocate
the Stilt Sandpipers that Jim Green had found, but we did see one juv.
WESTERN SANDPIPER among the 6 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS, 10 LEAST
SANDPIPERS, 1 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, and single SEMIPALMATED PLOVER.
There were also about 40 SNOWY EGRETS.
Good Birding!
