Hi all --

En route and returning from shorebirding at the Delaware Bay we made two
stops at Central Sod Farm, on John Brown Road, Queen Anne's Co.

The Red-necked Phalaropes were NOT there either visit. In the morning at
about 7:30 AM there was one Am. Golden-plover visible on the north fields,
not too many other shorebirds except for large numbers of Killdeer and (on
the SE side), Lesser Yellowlegs and a single Solitary SP.

This evening, at about 5:30 the picture was more lively. 11 species of
shorebird, highlighted by five Golden-plover, about 25 Pectoral SP, two S-B
Dowitchers, and two White-rumped SP. The former were where Jim Moore saw
them on the short grass on the south side of the road behind the irrigation
pipes, and the latter among 100s of Killdeer, many Least SP and Yellowlegs
foraging on the bare fields on the NW section of the property.
