From 11:30 until 1:00 today (9/3) I searched the fields of Central Sod
Farms along John Brown Road in Queen Anne's County, and found one WHIMBREL
and one BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER amongst the 70 or so Killdeer in the field at
the south end of the property.  All of these birds were in the grass beyond
the long wheel-borne irrigation pipe that runs along that field.  Small
numbers of Pectoral Sandpipers, Least Sandpipers and Yellowlegs were also
present.
