Well, I got a fatal error the first time I tried to post - I'll give it one more try.

I birded several locations in Howard County today. What was of interest to me follows:

Browns Bridge - 2 Green-winged Teal, first of season

Schooley Mill Park - Northern Harrier, Least Flycatcher, Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. The latter was near the wood duck box at the beaver pond. After I lost sight of it, it sang twice, which made the sighting even cooler than it already was. This is the first record for Schooley (#190).

Race Road wetlands - 3 Little Blue Herons (2 imm, 1 ad); yesterday there were 3 imms.
