I birded areas from the Pologrounds at Hughes Rd west this morning.

The Pologrounds had nothing both times I checked them.

Summit Hall Turf Farm - AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER (1) in with Killdeer. Usual bad views through the trees.

Sycamore Landing car park by canal - small group of songbirds included WORM-EARING, Magnolia and Chestnut-sided Warblers

Junction of Mt Nebo and W Offutt - VESPER SPARROW, more or less same place I found a singing bird back in June.

River Rd - just before turf farm, flock of 5 Wild Turkey in field on left (the one with a new house at the back)

Patton Turf Farm - counted as many as 10 American Golden Plover in the field where they were found yesterday.  All were molting adults.  They were accompanied by a single BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER and many Killdeer.

Good birding
