A cloudy and wonderfully pleasant morning of Cromwell birding, with a good deal of activity. Wish I'd had more time! Oh, there was more to be had.
7 warbler species: black and white (several), chestnut-sided (several+), pine (1), prairie (1), redstart (couple), magnolia (several), common yellowthroat (several).
Also gnatcatcher, veery, hummers, good number of peewees, great-crested, warbling vireo, maybe 10 or so empids (surprising number, and silent), house wrens, flickers, downys, red-bellies, wb nuts (one racing a black-and-white on a trunk). Tons of goldfinch.
