Hi all --

Did a quick jaunt through Wheaton regional Park and Brookside Gardens this
morning. At about 7:15, there was a large passage of diurnal migrants --
100s of Robins, Jays and Flickers -- rather overwhelming the relatively few
neotropicals around. Tons of Catbirds as well...mewing everywhere.

Birds of interest:

Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 2
YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER - 1 (in virtually same place as yesterday, the
Azalea Garden)
Eastern Wood-pewee - 2
Scarlet Tanager - 6
Red-eyed Vireo - 12
YELLOW-THROATED VIREO - 2, singing away!
Bay-breasted Warbler - 1, adult still showing a lot of bay along sides
Black-and-White Warbler - 2
Black-throated Green Warbler - 5
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 1
Magnolia Warbler - 7
Redstart - 3
Yellowthroat - 1
SWAINSON'S THRUSH - 1
Wood Thrush - 2
Veery - 1
House Wren - 6
ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK - 3 (first of season)
Indigo Bunting - 1
