Preparatory to an Audubon walk in 2 weeks at LaDew, I birded there this morning and had one of my better days for that place, altho most of the action was in an area abutting the Nature Walk where the hunt club has some trails. Nine warbler species:
Black-and-White
Chestnut-Sided
BLACKPOLL
Black-Throated-Blue
Redstart
C. Yellowthroat
Magnolia
Black-Throated Green
Pine

There were also probably 2 other warbler speicies I didn't see well enough to ID. Also hummers, white-eyed vireo, red-shouldered hawk, cooper's, peewees, pileated. The meadows are tall and rich with flowers and grasses--lots of butterflies, bees, wasps, cicadas, cicada killers too, mantids.
