On my way to work this morning, driving north on Stillwater Avenue in Kensington, a large Accipiter appeared in front of me, flying with slow flaps then a glide, then swooped up onto the utility wires and perched. I slowed and got a good look: size of Redtail, yellow eye, large bill, tail brown with black bars, back brown with white speckles. Stillwater is situated south of White Flint Mall, between Flanders Ave. and Strathmore Ave.
