Red-headed Woodpeckers at Schooley Mill park

This morning I tagged along impromptu-ly for a couple of hours with Nancy Magnuson at Schooley Mill park, for my first visit.  The highlight while I was there were at least two Red-headed Woodpeckers, one adult and one immature.  Other bird activity was slow, though we did see two Scarlet Tanagers and one or two Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.  

The Little Blue Heron continues near Browns Bridge Road.  I saw no sign of either Stilt or White-rumped Sandpiper during my two visits this morning.
