Broad-winged Hawks are only being seen as single birds or in small groups.  Large numbers are just starting to be reported at hawk-watch sites north ( and west)  of MD. On Tuesday the 15th I plan on hawk-watching from Federal Hill (downtown Baltimore)  and will be in touch with observers at Cromwell via cell phone to compare sightings.
