This afternoon, 9/20, several flocks of Canada Geese went over our
place
flying high and going directly south. Earlier this morning there were 23
Canada Geese emerging from the fog over Leeds Creek and staring at our
house. That behavior is something that we see from the migrants as they
return, so we believe a few of the migrants are coming in. We have been
hearing the calling of small flocks of them for the past few days.
This afternoon there were also a few warblers along our driveway - in
particular: Wilson's Warbler, several American Redstarts, and a Yellow
Warbler.
