HI all -

Very active again at Brookside Gardens (less so in Wheaton Regional Park
proper) but most of the activity was large numbers of robins, jays, flickers
and catbirds. However we did find a few other birds - but no sign of the Y-B
Flycatcher or Marsh Wren of yesterday.

Birds of interest:

Pied-bill Grebe -- 1, Pine Lake -- trying to swallow a large frog with
little success
YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER - 3 FOS
Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 1 in walled garden at "Black & Blue" Salvia
Eastern Phoebe - 2
Eastern Wood-pewee - 1
Brown Thrasher - 1
Gray Catbird- 30+
Swainson's Thrush - 1
Red-eyed Vireo - 2
Scarlet Tanager - 1 male
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 10+
Black-and-White Warbler - 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 2
Black-throated Green Warbler - 7 (5 were together w/ kinglets)
Magnolia Warbler - 2
Northern Parula - 2
Common Yellowthroat - 15!
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 4
