Hi all,

I birded Mattaponi Creek area late this morning, there were lots of
sparrows around in the field, but not too much else. The best bird
was a BICKNELL'S THRUSH. I heard it giving its classic flight call in
the woods south of the corn field multiple times, it was calling
constantly at first but trailed off to a sporadic pace towards the
end.

And a bit off topic of birds, for those interested, I have posted some
pictures of a new work mammal from Frostburg, MD.
