Lisa and I stopped by the Crownsville WWTP (AA County) and found a hybridized Canada Goose in amongst the flock of other CAGOs there.

Our first thought was a Canada Goose x Greater White-Fronted Goose, but upon getting home and doing a little research, we realized it might be a Canada Goose x domestic Greylag goose. The bird definitely appeared larger than the other CAGOs nearby.

We posted a photo at www.birdcouple.com Help, opinions welcome!

Earlier, we spent a lovely 90 minutes or so at Fort Smallwood Park, where the weather was divine. Only remarkable bird was a Little Blue Heron in the pond.
