Hi --

A quick trip to Brookside Gardens and adjacent Pine Lake in Wheaton Regional
Park yielded a few migrants. The gardens had far fewer rabins, catbirds and
jays than previously (not unexpected) -- all the warblers were with a
chickadee flock near the south end of Pine Lake. Quite a few Swifts early
OH.

Birds of interest:

Red-shouldered Hawk - 1
Red-tailed Hawk - 1
Eastern Phoebe - 3
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1
Golden-crowned Kinglet - heard only FOS
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 1 (lovely male)
Black-throated Green Warbler - 2
CAPE MAY WARBLER - 1
Blue-headed Vireo - 1
Gray Catbird - 12
House Wren - 3
SWAINSON'S THRUSH - 1
Swamp Sparrow - 2
Eastern Towhee - 2
