A first-year  Little Blue Heron was present today about 11:45 at the Race Road Wetlands.  I saw it from the open space on Race Rd, on the south side of the wetland.  It was perched in a snag.  I had time to shot two pictures and then it flew to the left and disappeared in the vegetation.  I did not observe any other birds, not even a Canada Goose!
