During the Sugarloaf CBC in the last 5 years there have been 5,6,6,8 and 6 ravens counted, so I find it no big surprise that they are hanging around Great Falls. There numbers are increasing throughout the area.

I have now seen two reports of Common Ravens at Great Falls. One report on
Va-Bird and on another on MDOsprey. I saw two Common Ravens, up close, fly
out of a tree on the Canal tow path  just upriver from Angler's Inn about a
week ago. I was quite surprised to see, and hear, them. Looks like they are
hanging around.
