Hi all --

Fairly good day considering the time of year, lots of diurnal migrants in
the form of flocks of Jays and Robins overhead, also a few Grackles and
Flickers and a flock of 5 calling Bluebirds. A real reduction in Catbirds,
they have finally moved out. Kinglets have come in force. The warblers were,
as usual here, accompanying Chickadees.

Birds of Interest:

Great Blue Heron - 1
Red-shouldered Hawk - 1
Cooper's Hawk - 2 (one chasing a Jay across the Gude Gardens)
Eastern Phoebe - 5
Gray Catbird - 2
BROWN THRASHER - 1
Winter Wren - 1
House Wren - 2
Hermit Thrush - 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 1 (male)
Black-throated Green Warbler - 4
Palm Warbler - 1 (yellow)
Common Yellowthroat - 5
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 12
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 10
Field Sparrow - 1
White-throated Sparrow - 15
Eastern Towhee - 2
