A (the) Northern Shrike was found yesterday evening by myself and Maren Gimpel on Chino Farm in northern Queens Annes Co. It is currently hanging out in an area away from any roads. We will keep everyone updated on it's location if it starts to move around.

According to the yellow book the previous early date was the 26th of October, there is one banding record from the 25th of Oct that was banded/seen after the last edition of the yellow book.
