Decided to check for local shorebirds in wet fields after all the rain.
I found three American Golden-Plover at the Summit Hall Turf Farm. They
were visible with difficulty using a scope from the towpath
approximately 1/2 mile west of the Sycamore Landing parking lot along
the CO Canal. (Remember that the turf farm is private property). No
other shorebirds there besides Killdeer.

Also found six Pectoral Sandpipers in a pool in a plowed field just east
of the Patton Turf Farm on River Road. Had a Blue-headed Vireo, both
kinglets, and a Nashville Warbler along River Road just across from the
White's Ferry towpath. Getting slightly late for the Nashville I think.
Nothing but 3 Killdeer and 46 Horned Larks at the Hughes Road polo fields.

Good birding!
