I birded at Davidsonville Park yesterday and Gov Bridge today. The
impoundments are filled at Davidsonville and there were many Canada Geese
including a good Cackling candidate. Also present was a lone shoveler. The
river was flooded and so I couldn't check the back ponds but I suspect more
geese and possible waterfowl. I will check again later this week when the
river drops. Behind the ball fields there were loads of sparrows including
a Lincoln's and a couple juvy/female white crowned. At Gov Bridge, I flushed
a woodcock and found my first winter wren. Kinglets and Myrtles were
abundant at both locations. Full lists:
