I went to Mayo Beach and Beverly Beach to look for the reported Brant there. Whiffed on Brant but my consolation prize was a Red-breasted Nuthatch beeping in tandem with a White-breasted Nuthatch at Beverly Beach.

RB Nuthatches are back in Shady Side.  We had none last winter and two regulars the winter before.  Hoping that some will stay over this year.
