Leo and all,
I thought these things morphed into butterflies (or is it a moth?). Leo
makes it sound like they morph into birds.
Anyway, I forgot to mention in my earlier post, that I had half a dozen
TURKEYS when I got to my usual parking place. They crossed the stream and
went up over the hill.
Also had 2 more WINTER WRENS which was the reason for the title of my post -
indicating that winter must be here if the birds named for it are here.
Somehow I got old. Remind me not to do that again.
