Hi all-

As soon as the rain and cloudiness abated, I made a short trip to Lake Needwood's upper end to view waterfowl.  Canada Geese numbers are increasing, as are Mallard. The water level was up considerably.

60-70 Canada Geese
45 Mallards (rough est. some flew to lake on other side)
1 Green wing Teal (hen)
1 Ring neck Duck
1 Gadwall(?) strange grayish duck slightly smaller than a Mallard
1 Eastern Phoebe
2 Yellow rumped Warbler
5 Turkey Vultures
20 American Robins
2 Northern Cardinals
4 Chipping Sparrows
5 Bluejays

Lake Frank 3:40pm  No Waterfowl on Lake (quick scan)
40 American Crows
1 Red tail Hawk (being harassed by 40 crows)

D.Ford/Bethesda, Md
