Ken Heselton is banding Saw-Whet Owls at Turkey Point during the month of
November, but he will not be able to be there the nights of November 5-9. If
you are an experienced bander and can fill in, please contact him at
410-790-7881.

 

If you are not a bander but would like to observe, you'll need to get
permission from the park police at Elk Neck State Park. The mist net is set
up in the Hawk Watch meadow, east of the hawk watch at the edge of the
woods. Ken staffs it from 6-7 p.m. until dawn.
