It seems a lot of people are reporting a Brandt at Piney Run Park. I have
never seen one there, but there is a BRANT there.

Bob,

Apparently you didn't see the nametag. This BRANT is named Brandt. Trusdt
me.

Right now our yard is very active. Lot of birds, mostly common species like
Robins, Jays, Juncos, Finches, White-throats, Wrens, etc etc. However the
Dogwood out front has attracted along with every body else, a male PURPLE
FINCH and two if his girlfriends and a RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET. The finch is a
rare visitor to this yard.

As for the dogwood, its berries must have ripened about 15 minutes ago. The
tree has been largely ignored until today. A MOCKINGBIRD was trying to
defend it for a while but he apparently gave up. Everybody is in it now.
Except me.
