Queen Annes County Birds 11 - 6 and 11 - 7 - 09

    Hi all  a very windy vist to Terrapian  Park and  part of the Cross Island trail that  buts up to terrapin on Kent Island  on Fri 11 - 6 - 09  produced  the regular winter birds in a few wind  free  sheltered spots   and a group of about 7 wind surfers out in the bay . I was however able to locate some Rusty Blackbirds .

Mallards   6
Coopers Hawk   1  kept the birds low in addition to the wind 
Great Blue Heron   2
Black Crowned Night Heron     1 roosting at Kent Narrows
Flicker    2
Downy Woodpecker   2
Red Bellied Woodpecker  1
Golden Crowned Kinglet   1
Ruby Crowned Kinglet    5
Blue Jays    12
Carolina Wren    1
Carolina Chickadee    1
Tufted Titmouse       2
Robins       45 total 
Cardinal 3
Yellow Rumped Warbler    15
White Throated Sparrows    12
RUSTY BLACKBIRDS      2    in a flock of  10 Robins on the Cross Island trail 

   This morning  11 - 7 - 09  there was some bird action in my yard  in Queestown Maryland

Goldfinch         2
Hermit Thrush     1
Dark Eyed Junco   20
White Throated  Sparrow      3
