Hi Everyone,

Jim Green and I were both out checking the lower Nanticoke River in Wicomico County this morning (12 Nov 2009).  We agreed that the weather was miserable (rainy and windy) and that the Nanticoke was mostly devoid of birds.

But at my last stop (10:10 am), I got out of the car to count the Ruddy Ducks at the end of Cove Rd and was happy to see 2 HORNED GREBES at the edge of one of the flocks.  Finally, my first Horned Grebe in Wicomico County!
