Stephen,

As previously posted by Mike Bowen, birders may visit Cranberry Reservoir by parking outside the gate. Do not drive down the driveway beyond the gate. Most of the lake can be seen from behind the fence without going any farther. The signs refer to the driveway and the grounds of the private residence to which it leads. I have never had a problem stopping here during three decades of visits.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Brant Piney Run Park

I was able to get some good photos of the Brant at Piney Run Park as it grazed near the lake. It was very tame I guess it has gotten used to the people at the park. I then went up to Cranberry reservoir however it said do not enter. What is the deal with Cranberry Reservoir. Is it open to all birders or only a select few? If it is open where do we park and what not?
