At 4PM today Dan Haas, Bill Hubick and myself saw the 7 black scoters and 1 white-winged scoter that were found by Joe Hanfman. The surf scoter however, was not present.  We waited to see if they would float to the Montgomery side but we had to settle for just Howard ticks.  Also present were several Canada geese, 2 mallards, 1 red-throated loon, 1 common loon, 4 buffles, 5 ruddies, several hooded mergs, 2 bald eagles and 2 female common mergs.
