My daughter Kathy, being from Seattle, didn't mind the wet gloomy
weather today, but I would have preferred sunshine. At Greenbridge
Road, we ran into Joe Hanfman and 3 others (forgot to record names -
sorry), who pointed out a Common Loon, the only thing we saw from there.
At Tridelphia Lake Rd, there were no waterfowl, but we did see some land
birds, the best being a Winter Wren and 2 Fox Sparrows. Kathy was
struck by how much different our Fox Sparrows, Song Sparrows, and
flickers are from those she sees in the Northwest.
The WIWR was along the tiny "causeway" between the parking lot and the
picnic/recreation area, in and around the clumps of caged rocks on the
left side, and the FOSP were about 20 yards further, on the right side.
WARNING: The Montgomery side of Tridelphia will be closed for HUNTING
tomorrow, 11/25. Apologies for not getting this posted earlier.
In about 15 minutes of searching, we saw absolutely nothing from
Brighton Dam.
