Hi all,

Spent the late morning with Dan Haas scanning the choppy bay from Thomas
Point Park for waterfowl/gulls. We had hoped to find some Pelicans after
reading of Bill Hubick's find earlier in the week off Herrington Harbour
looking north. Looking south off TPP did not yield any pelicans (Dan,
unless you found one after I left) but there are still many gannets to be
seen. There was also a large feeding flock of Boneparte's gulls with some
Ring-billed gulls and Forster's terns mixed in. Waterfowl numbers were
rather low with just one large raft of scaup, passing scoter flocks (only
surf that I could make out) scattered buffles, and a few Long-tailed ducks.
