This morning (Sat, 11/28), 6 of us (Gary A., Frank H., Ottavio J., Rob
H., Lisa S.) watched a CACKLING GOOSE feed with Canadas at Anacostia
River Park. The number of Canadas has been pretty steady the past few
weeks and we've been working the flock that whole time, so I'm sure the
Cackler is a recent addition. Just wonder if it came in by itself or
with a small flock of Canadas.

Ottavio J. & I also saw an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER in the brush/tree line
right along the river, not far from the Poplar Pt. parking area (Rob &
Lisa may have seen it too). Gary A. & I saw what is presumably the same
bird in that same area 3(?) weeks ago. And it's different than another
O-c Warbler that some of us saw at Hains Pt. 2 weeks ago. Hopefully one
will stick around for the Christmas Count.

Good birding,
