Hi Everyone,
Carol and I visited a few locations in Anne Arundel County yesterday (29 November 2009). Our main highlights came during our first visit to Greenbury Point:
Brown Pelican--2--flew north as we looked out on the Bay from the "E Rd" (according to label in Google Earth); this is the path along the east side of the peninsula
Bonaparte's Gull--2--feeding near the mouth of Mill Creek (scoped from the E Rd)
White-eyed Vireo--1--responded to pishing along the E Rd; bird was about half way between the last parking lot and the towers near the tip of the peninsula; nice surprise!
Have fun,
