Dear All

Just a quick note to add a couple of things to Paul's note of yesterday. Frank Hawkins and I saw a nice adult Lesser Black-backed Gull on the early morning Tidal Basin (DC) gull roost and a single American Pipit flew over Poplar Point later. There were two Wild Turkeys skulking around in the vegetation at PP too. There were also too small groups of Hooded Mergansers on the Anacostia, totalling seven birds and a single female Ring-necked Duck along with them.

Best

Gary
