Getting back to my building from the university library at midnight, I heard
what sounded like frat boy hooting over the music in my earphones. I pulled
them out to find what I was actually hearing was very loud swan honking. 32
Tundra Swans in a loose V were flying low and south over 39th Street in
Central Baltimore at midnight.
