Hi, there, faithful readers!  You'll never guess who your Roving Reporter-At-Large spotted yesterday slumming on Stevens Street in West Cape May.  That's right, it was that intrepid trio of DC listers, Rob Hilton, Ottavio Janni and Paul Pisano (alphabetically to avoid hints of favoritism).  The lads were basking in the warm afterglow of having seen the Ivory Gull over at the BreezeeLee Marina.  But their luck ran out as they dipped on the Swainson's Hawk at the Rea Farm.  (Hey, if YOU had to choose, which bird would YOU prefer to see?)  Well, that's all for now.  Until next time-Ta Ta!

But seriously, folks, the word is that the marina will shut down on 12/15.  That means no more fishing boats and no more fish cleaning, which is what has kept the gull at the marina.  So if you want to be reasonably sure of seeing it, get over there soon.

And keep those cards and letters coming in!
