Yard birds

Hi all,
 A quick walk around the yard revealed a single lingering Chipping Sparrow, in the company of many Dark-eyed Juncos. Cedar Waxwings and E. Bluebirds were in the trees and field edges (bluebirds), foraging for berries (grapes, persimmon, and loads of Bradford pears), which the robins and starlings also seem to enjoy. Downy Woodpeckers, White-breasted Nuthatches, N. Mockingbird, goldfinches and House Finches, rounded out the short list. 

Finally, a bit chilly this morning; feels good. CBC's are right around the corner...
