This morning (Dec 12) a male Northern Harrier, heading in a westerly direction, skimmed over the treetops in the stream valley section of the park. A House Wren was in the brushy tangles below the pavilion where the path makes a sharp bend with a narrow pond on the side opposite to the shrubbery. I also saw one Yellow-rumped Warbler with a flock of bluebirds and goldfinches on the east side of the pavilion. This is the pavilion in the western section of the park closest to Meadowbrook Lane.
